Anal Cunt es una banda de Grindcore muy controvertida de Massachusetts, Estados Unidos. Muchos describen su sonido como Noisegrind, debido a su música extremadamente obscena y ruidosa. Se forma en 1988 por el vocalista Seth Putnam. Este escogió el nombre del grupo haciendo una lista de palabras obscenas, e intentando hacer la combinación más ofensiva posible de estas cayo sobre Anal Cunt. El objetivo principal de la banda era hacer lo que ellos llamaban "antimúsica" la música más rápida, caótica y ruidosa posible con letras muy insultantes y obscenas, lo que consiguen en 1989 con The 5643 songs, un álbum en broma de 25 minutos que contiene 5.643 canciones y donde ninguna sobrepasa los diez segundos. También han editado "Picnic of Love", otro álbum satírico donde solo tocan baladas acústicas con letras de amor y paz.

En este disco solo participo Mitch Harris en la voz, guitarra, bajo y la bateria. Nuevo disco de este grupo que ya deleitó nuestros oídos a finales de los ochenta con un fantástico álbum llamado Purity Dilution que abrió los ojos al Grind de más de uno. Formados en aquel entonces por dos miembros (Mick Harris ex-Napalm Death y hoy día en Scorn) y Mitch Harris (ex-Righteous Pigs y ahora de Napalm Death), en la actualidad Mick Harris está totalmente concentrado en su proyecto techno-industrial "Scorn", lo que ha dejado a Mitch Harris sólo para sacar adelante este Intention Surpassed. Y no sé exactamente lo que opinar sobre este nuevo trabajo. Es un buen disco, agresivo y potente, pero no suena para nada a Defecation.

CATTLE DECAPITATION:
Cattle Decapitation, currently signed to Metal Blade Records, is a San Diego, California-based deathgrind band. Originally founded in 1996, Cattle Decapitation's songs protest the mistreatment and human consumption of animals as well as the abuse of the environment. All members of the group are vegetarians, though their lyrics are focused on subjects such as misanthropy. Through the use of macabre lyrical content (horror, real life lyrics about what they stand for) the members of the band represent their views on animal rights through gore-grind styled lyrics.

CANINUS:

Caninus is a death metal/grindcore band formed as a side project by guitarist Justin Brannan, drummer Colin Thundercurry and two pit-bull terriers, Budgie and Basil. They are currently signed to War Torn Records and have three releases, including a split with Hatebeak and a 7" split with death metal band Cattle Decapitation.

Carcass fue un grupo de Grindcore, procedente de Liverpool, Inglaterra.

Carcass surge como una banda brutal y llena de energía, con líricas sobre enfermedades humanas, con una atmósfera carnicera y llena de un sonido crudo e intenso. Carcass fue innovador, formando parte de la oleada de bandas de gran calidad y agresividad como Napalm Death.

El perfecto equilibrio entre agresividad y técnica lo encontramos en este disco Necroticism - Descanting the Insalubrious, que posiblemente sea su obra más representativa. El disco, dotado de riffs y cambios de ritmo muy elaborados, a los que se unen unos textos de pseudomedicina declamados con una cadencia especial por la voz de Jeff Walker, sumerge al oyente en una atmósfera malsana al mismo tiempo que embriagadora. Uno de los temas que más destaca en todos estos aspectos es "Pedigree Butchery".

Pa que tanta pinche palabreria si saben que esta banda es simplemente BRUTAL!!!
